Work Ethic

Albert Einstein once said, “The idle man does not know what it is to enjoy rest.” This quote challenges the ideals of work ethic and accomplishment by stating that work ethic is endless. However, in a world today full of poverty and shortcuts, work ethic is merely the maximum effort a person thinks is satisfactory. That comes from bosses or clients who don’t appreciate other’s work ethic or abilities. But it’s the individuals’ job to find their own abilities and work hard at those skills. According to Einstein your work ethic should never end because with it follows accomplishment. These values that an individual sets for himself, also sets the bar for his or her success in life.
In today’s tough society, a good work ethic builds character which comes from a strong mind and determination to succeed. The body can only carry out what the mind tells it to do, but individuals with bad work ethic shy away from thought and only finish as much as their body allows them to complete. However, Albert Einstein believes man should always be tired, because they are working as hard as they possibly can to achieve. Only work ethic brings success and good character. There’s no wrong or right way when it comes to work ethic. It is a mental challenge that people face everyday. By facing these obstacles one builds a new work ethic. Although, work ethic is mainly in sports and in the work place, it’s also in everyday things such as character development. One can make themselves a better person by confronting their problems in these areas. With these challenges come stress and irritation, but success relieves all pains from the mind and the body. This feeling of accomplishment is due to work ethic. Einstein believes that if you have the right work ethic the challenges will merely go away because success is basically knocking at your door. By clearing your mind of all things and focusing on a goal, having a sound work ethic will take care of the rest.
